Audibel wireless accessories come in two generations. The StarLink Edge range uses Bluetooth LE Audio and is Auracast ready, working with LE Audio hearing aids such as Aris AI and Vitality AI. The earlier StarLink range covers previous-generation devices. Which one you need depends on your hearing aids, not on your television or phone.
Start here: which generation do you need?
This is the question that causes returns, so it is worth two minutes. There are two families below, and they are not interchangeable.
StarLink Edge uses Bluetooth Low Energy Audio. It is the newer protocol, it is more efficient, and it is Auracast ready, meaning it will work with the emerging broadcast standard that lets theaters, airports and churches transmit audio straight to hearing aids. It requires LE Audio-enabled hearing aids such as Aris AI or Vitality AI.
StarLink is the previous generation and covers earlier Audibel devices. It does the same jobs on the older protocol.
If you are not sure which your hearing aids are, do not guess from the model name. Bring them in, or call 770-590-8662 with the serial number and we will tell you in a minute. We would rather spend that minute than have you order the wrong one.

Which accessory solves which problem
- I still cannot follow the television. A TV Streamer, Edge or standard depending on your devices.
- Restaurants are impossible with one person. A remote microphone, clipped to them.
- Group meals and meetings are the problem. A table microphone in the middle.
- The buttons are too small and I do not use a phone. The StarLink Remote Control.
- My laptop will not connect. The Edge LE Adapter.
- One device keeps going quiet. Not an accessory. That is usually a blocked wax filter, and a clean and check fixes it in fifteen minutes.
Common questions
How do I know which generation my hearing aids are?
Do not guess from the model name. Bring the devices in, or call 770-590-8662 with the serial number and we will check it against the manufacturer record in a minute.
Do I need a TV streamer if my hearing aids already have Bluetooth?
Usually yes. Most televisions do not transmit the kind of Bluetooth audio hearing aids receive, so a small transmitter bridges the gap. It is the most requested accessory we fit.
Which accessory helps most in restaurants?
A remote microphone clipped to the person you are with. It beats every built-in noise program, because it moves the microphone to the voice instead of processing harder at your ear.
Can I try one before I buy it?
Come in and we will demonstrate them. A remote microphone in particular is hard to appreciate from a description and obvious within thirty seconds of trying it.
Do accessories work with hearing aids from another brand?
Generally no. Wireless accessories are matched to their manufacturer’s devices. If you wear another brand, tell us what it is and we will say what is available for it.
Is Auracast worth waiting for?
You do not need to wait. Buying LE Audio hardware now means you are ready when venues adopt it, and everything works today regardless.
