Connects USB-C phones, tablets and computers to LE Audio hearing aids for hands-free calls and streaming. Requires a USB-C port on the source device and LE Audio-enabled hearing aids. Bring the laptop or tablet with you and we will test it in the office.

What it does

The Edge LE Adapter plugs into a USB-C port on a phone, tablet or computer and gives that device a direct LE Audio link to your hearing aids. It covers the gap where a laptop, a work computer or an older tablet cannot pair natively.

The most common use we see is video calls. A laptop that will not pair directly becomes a hands-free headset, with the caller in both ears and your own voice picked up by the hearing aid microphones.

Who it suits

Will it work with my hearing aids?

Requires a USB-C port on the source device and LE Audio-enabled hearing aids. Bring the laptop or tablet with you and we will test it in the office. Do not guess from the model name. Bring your devices in, or call 770-590-8662 with the serial number and we will confirm it in a minute.

Common questions

Will it work with my laptop?

If it has a USB-C port and your hearing aids are LE Audio enabled, almost certainly. Bring the laptop to the appointment rather than guessing from a specification sheet.

Do I need one for my phone?

Usually not. Most current phones pair directly. The adapter is for the devices that will not.

Can I move it between devices?

Yes. Unplug it from one and into another. Many patients keep it with the laptop and use direct pairing for the phone.
