Sudden hearing loss, ear pain, drainage or dizziness needs a physician the same day, not a hearing aid appointment. Contact your doctor or urgent care.
Common questions
What happens at a consultation?
We examine the ear canal, test tones across the speech frequencies in each ear, check how well you recognise words, and explain your audiogram the same day. It takes about 45 minutes with no obligation to buy anything. If you decide to purchase hearing aids you receive a written quote at more than one technology level first.
How soon can I be seen?
Often within the same week. Call 770-590-8662 for the earliest available time.
What should I bring?
Your medication list, your insurance card if you have hearing coverage, any current hearing aids and charger, previous test results if you have them, and ideally a family member.
Can I book for a parent or relative?
Yes. Put their name on the form and mention it in the notes, and say who we should call to arrange the time.
How long does the appointment take?
Plan on about 45 minutes for a screening. Fittings run 60 to 90 minutes because programming and verification take time we do not like to rush.
