What it does
Eight microphones inside the unit work together to detect who is speaking and steer toward them, switching as the conversation moves around the table. Set it in the middle of a meeting, a family dinner or a card game and it does the work of handing a microphone back and forth without anyone having to think about it.
It is rechargeable, and it is the right tool for the situation people describe as the hardest of all: several people, all animated, one table.

Common questions
How is this different from the remote microphone?
The remote microphone is for one person, clipped to them. The table microphone is for a group, placed between everyone, and it switches automatically toward whoever is talking.
How many people does it work for?
It is designed around a table rather than a room. Six to eight seated people is comfortable; a large hall is not what it is for.
Can I use it in a restaurant?
Yes, and it is one of the better answers for a group booking. For one companion, the remote microphone is smaller and simpler.
