What it does

Clip it to a companion and their voice comes directly to your hearing aids. There is very little to it: no settings to learn and no menu to navigate, which is precisely why it gets used when more capable accessories stay in a drawer.

If you are choosing between this and the Remote Microphone +, the honest question is whether you will ever use a wired audio input. If not, the smaller one is the better buy.

Common questions

Is it as effective as the larger microphone?

For conversation, essentially yes. The Plus adds a wired input and slightly more range, not better speech clarity.

How do I use it?

Clip it to the person you want to hear, or set it on the table between you. That is the whole operation.

Will it help at church or a lecture?

Only if you can place it near the speaker. For a room-wide system, ask the venue whether they have a hearing loop or assistive listening receivers.
