Serving Acworth
Acworth is our furthest regular catchment and worth the drive for the kind of follow-up that is hard to find closer to the lake. Patients from around Cauble Park and Historic Downtown come down US-41 or the interstate, and most make the trip two or three times a year once they are fitted.
If you spend summers on Lake Acworth or Allatoona, two things are worth asking about while you are here. Custom swim molds keep water out of the ear canal, which matters if you have had ear infections. And a nightly drying routine is the difference between hearing aids that survive a humid Georgia August and hearing aids that come in for repair in September.
Landmarks nearby: Lake Acworth, Cauble Park, Historic Downtown Acworth and Lake Allatoona.

What Acworth patients come in for
Everything below happens at the Marietta office, from the first screening to a clean and check five years later.
Hearing test
About 45 minutes. Tones across the speech frequencies, word recognition, and your audiogram explained the same day.
Hearing aid fitting
Programmed to your prescription and verified, not loaded with a factory default. Follow-up adjustments included.
Repairs, all brands
Weak sound, whistling, dead devices. Many are fixed the same day while you wait, including devices bought elsewhere.
Clean and check
Wax removal, filters, domes and a listening check. Fifteen minutes, appointment, and it prevents most repairs.
Tinnitus assessment
We measure it, look for treatable causes, and go through the relief options that have evidence behind them.
Custom hearing protection
Impression taken in office for shooting, machinery, music, motorcycling, swimming and sleep.

Acworth: common questions
How far is your office from Acworth?
About 13 miles, roughly 20 to 30 minutes. Cobb Parkway (US-41) south through Kennesaw, or I-75 south to exit 265.
Do you fit swim molds?
Yes. Custom watertight molds are taken from an impression in the office and come back in one to two weeks. They are worth it if you swim regularly or have a history of ear infections.
How do I keep hearing aids working through a humid summer?
Dry them every night in an electronic dehumidifier, wipe them after being outdoors, and never leave them in a hot car. Moisture is the leading cause of the repairs we see between June and September.
How often will I need to come back?
Two or three visits in the first three months after a fitting, then a check every six to twelve months. Adjustments for devices we fit are booked as appointments.
Schedule a consultation
About 45 minutes, no obligation. Most patients are seen within the same week.
