Weak sound, whistling, dead devices. Many are fixed the same day while you wait, including devices bought elsewhere.

Custom Hearing Protection

Impression taken in office for shooting, machinery, music, motorcycling, swimming and sleep.

Two things that change the outcome

Most of what separates a hearing aid that gets worn from one that ends up in a drawer happens during the fitting, not in the device. These are the two steps we do not skip.

Video otoscopy

A camera view of your ear canal and eardrum, on a screen you can see too. It catches impacted wax, perforations and signs of infection before anyone talks about devices. Wax alone is a genuinely common cause of what feels like sudden hearing loss, and it is fixable in one visit.

Real ear measurement

A tiny probe microphone measures what the hearing aid is actually delivering inside your ear canal, against your prescription. Ear canals differ enough that two people with the same audiogram need different settings. Without this step, programming is an educated guess.

Included with every hearing aid we fit

Not add-ons. These come with the fitting, and they are a large part of what you are actually paying for.

Manufacturer warranty

Manufacturer warranty covering repair for a set period, administered here rather than by a call center. Bring the device in and we handle it.

Loss and damage insurance

Included on all instruments. If a device is lost or damaged beyond repair within the covered period, you are not starting from zero.

Follow-up fine tuning

Two or three visits in the first three months, then a check every six to twelve months. Adjustments for devices we fit are booked as appointments.

Routine clean and check

Professional cleaning, filters, domes and a listening check whenever you need it. Appointment during opening hours.

Retesting over time

Hearing changes. We retest and reprogram rather than leaving four-year-old settings in place and calling it maintenance.

Rehabilitation support

Practical coaching on adapting: what to expect in the first fortnight, how to handle restaurants, and how to bring family into it.

Accessories and supplies we stock

Appointment for any of these during opening hours. You do not need an appointment for supplies.

Common questions

Do I need a referral to be seen?

No. You can book a hearing screening directly. If we find something during testing that a physician should see first, such as signs of infection, sudden loss in one ear, or fluid, we will tell you and refer you before fitting anything.

We examine the ear canal, test tones across the speech frequencies in each ear, check how well you recognise words, and explain your audiogram the same day. It takes about 45 minutes with no obligation to buy anything. If you go on to purchase hearing aids you receive a written quote before anything is ordered.

In most cases yes. We repair and clean all makes and models. Bring them in and we will tell you honestly whether they are worth repairing or replacing.

Plan on about 45 minutes for a screening. Fittings run 60 to 90 minutes, because programming and verification take time we do not like to rush.

A probe microphone measures what the hearing aid actually delivers inside your ear canal and compares it to your prescription. Ear canals vary enough that the same settings produce different results in different people. Skipping it is the most common reason a good device underperforms.

Start with a consultation

About 45 minutes, no obligation. You leave knowing your audiogram, explained in plain language.
